Tweens and Teens Wellness

It was an honour to be part of Wellness event for our younger generation. Great discussion, lots of smiles and giggles. Being a mum to two young children I feel responsibility to share my knowledge with wider community. I have found working with teenagers and young people very inspiring and rewarding. Free/ Pay by donation community health sessions

I believe that everyone should have access to great health and nutrition advice.  After receiving lots of questions everywhere I go I decided to launch a free/ pay by donation nutrition and health service online. I am an educator and strongly believe that people can be motivated and empowered by knowledge. Many studies show that ill health is directly linked to stress, environmental factors and poor nutrition. My sessions offer simple holistic advice, science based fact sheets and guidance to support health conditions or health goals through nutrition and lifestyle advice.  I am a Wellbeing Policy advisor at Outward and since 2021 I have been working with many professionals, support teams, students and our service users to improve eating habits, achieving 5 a day, reduce ready meals and support health and wellbeing of those vulnerable in our community. A variety of pictorial resources can be found here.

I love being a regular contributor to West Essex Life magazine.

Nutrition and Yoga workshops

It was such a pleasure to work with Yogacrowuk. Having community wellbeing at a heart of Aslihan's workshop I was honoured to be a guest speaker.

During 3 hour morning we discussed Principles of Nutrition, key nutrients for health, practical ways to improve our daily diet, tips for daily shopping, prepping and cooking, an insight into how your body works and what to focus on at different stages in life.

Such a positive and lovely morning. Head over to testimonials to read about what to expect during these sessions.
